Patricia Tsai left behind the corporate world to start a small grass-roots company of making chocolate and educating consumers about the true taste of chocolate using traditional methods. Refusing to source her cacao beans from indirect relationships and wanting to develop a face-to-face relationship with the main source of her ingredient, she traveled down to one of the original growing regions of chocolate and found her cacao grower. From there, she created ChocoVivo, an artisanal bean-to-bar chocolate company based in Los Angeles, California. ChocoVivo is changing the way people think, eat, and appreciate chocolate.
