Mobiligence: intelligent functions born from mobility

Hajime ASAMA

"Coexistence of human, society and technology" has never been so important a topic as in 2011. Professor Asama is the pioneer in the study of ""mobiligence""-- intelligent functions born from the mobility of human and animals. Rather than studying for the sake of research, he aims to solve the countless maladies of modern society, such as global warming, major accidents, natural disasters striking cities and the rise of new diseases, from the viewpoint of mobiligence. His pride and determination as a researcher is conveyed throughout his talk, marking a favorable contrast to his kind, reserved manner.
